Thomas Koll
Chairman of the Board, CEO

Thomas Koll joined Laplink in 2003. Thomas served as Infowave's chief executive officer from Feb. 2001 to April 2002. Prior to joining Infowave, Thomas was corporate vice president of Microsoft's Network Solutions Group where he was responsible for Microsoft's worldwide business with telecommunication companies in the wire line and wireless markets, network equipment providers and Internet service providers. Thomas was instrumental in developing Microsoft's vision for the communication industry and led the strategic partnerships in mobility, broadband and hosting. Prior to this, he was general manager of Microsoft's Dedicated System and general manager of worldwide business planning and strategy. Thomas holds a master's degree in political science from the Free University of Berlin and looks back at seven years of teaching in the field of International Politics at the Otto-Suhr-Institute.



Randy Clark
Chief Operating Officer, COO

Randy Clark joined Laplink in 2003 with overall responsibility for financial, operational, and general business matters. He also serves on the board as Secretary-Treasurer. Randy most recently served as Chief Financial Officer for a Colorado-based startup software company, with significant responsibilities for operations and marketing. Prior to that, Randy was a principal and Chief Financial Officer of a leading marketing and fundraising agency serving nonprofit organizations in the U.S. and Europe. Randy has also served as the Chief Financial Officer for a medical-products company and as Controller for a major international cruise line. Before his career in industry, Randy worked in public accounting for both Price Waterhouse (Houston) and Coopers & Lybrand (Seattle). Randy is a Certified Public Accountant and obtained his B.S. in Accounting from LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas.



Mark Chestnut
SVP of Corporate Sales and Business Development

Mark Chestnut joined Laplink in 2005, and is responsible for developing relationships with Laplink's corporate clients and channel partners. He has fifteen years' management experience at Microsoft, and directed worldwide business development and marketing strategy and execution for Microsoft's OEM channel. He has also successfully led sales and marketing activities for international software development tools provider, Pinnacle Publishing, and for Washington-based Internet Service Provider, Northwest Nexus, which was acquired by Winstar Communications in 1998 after becoming the largest independent ISP in the Pacific Northwest. Mark holds an MBA from the Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA.



Jack Wilson
Vice President, CTO

Jack Wilson joined Laplink in 1995 and has over 18 years of experience in a wide variety of software development projects from radar and air defense systems to commercial software. He is a seasoned software developer and has had extensive experience developing network devices and network-enabled applications. His professional skills were honed at leading companies including: Networks Northwest Inc, Boeing Defense and Space Group and Westinghouse. Jack has previously served on the advisory board at Seattle Book Company, a provider of digital publishing products and services to the publishing industry, booksellers, government and corporations. Jack earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering in 1985 from The Pennsylvania State University.



Emir Aboulhosn
Vice President Global Marketing Communications
General Manager Laplink Canada

Emir Aboulhosn joined Laplink in 2004. Emir has over 8 years of marketing and public relations experience within various industries. Emir has served as the Director of Business Development of Reputations Corporation a leading reputation management and public relations firm based in Vancouver, Canada. Prior to joining Laplink, Emir was the CEO and Co-Founder of SynerDrive Technologies, a software development company specializing in file sharing and collaboration technology. Emir received his education from British Columbia Institute of Technology in Business Administration, Management Systems. Emir currently manages our Canadian office and is based in Vancouver, British Columbia.
